My English Baby — a bilingual learning school

Your child learns languages with curiosity, and you see real progress — no tutors, no tears.

My English Baby at-home programs spark understanding and speech naturally — the way bilingual kids learn.

We tailor the course to your goal: fluent conversation or a calm command of the school curriculum.

Let's be honest:

Kids aren't "lazy" about learning English.

And it's certainly not "bad memory."

Trouble starts when a child doesn't understand what's being asked of them.

At school, this is how it usually plays out:

— topics move too fast,
— sounds are glossed over,
— texts are above their level,
— and homework reads like code that has to be decrypted.

I've been watching this for more than 20 years. And every time I come back to the same conclusion:

When a child finally gets it — they can handle any topic.

That's how My English Baby came to be — a clear system where the child actually starts to understand and speak.

And the parent — for the first time in a long while — sees that everything is finally going the way it should.

Pick your situation (and I'll tell you where to start):

Every family has its own story. There's no point choosing "a course" when you want to solve a specific problem.

✔ English from an early age

You want to start, but you're not sure what to talk about, how much, or how to keep from confusing your child.

✔ Your child can't follow school English

They lose track of assignments, mix up topics, are afraid of making mistakes. The school curriculum keeps moving forward while the basics never get a chance to settle.

✔ Reading is a struggle

They read letter by letter, mix up sounds, get worn out by every text. Each exercise feels like a tiny exam, and motivation drains away.

✔ Your child speaks, but makes mistakes

They stumble, guess, skip words, mix up endings — and it's clear something's missing.

✔ I don't know where to start

You want to help your child, but you're afraid of doing it "the wrong way" and confusing them even more.

Why it works:

I've never believed in "10-day miracles." But I do know how language development actually works.

The My English Baby method follows a step-by-step language development system:

1. First — understanding

The child hears phrases and grasps them without translation. It's the little click of a lightbulb: "Oh, that's what this means!"

2. Then — speech

Not memorized "flashcard dialogues" but the child's own real answers. When they understand what's being asked and what they want to say.

3. Then — reading

Step by step and in order — no gaps, no dragging it out.

4. And only then — grammar

Once the meaning is there, grammar stops being scary. It starts to make sense. That's how you end up with the kind of English your child actually understands and speaks. And not just English.

What parents say

Anna Grigorieva
Anna Grigorieva

We decided to start ahead of time — to be ready for English when it began in second grade.

We started with the MEB "Reading" course, and it was the best decision we could have made. My daughter didn't just learn to read — she now reads books on her own.

Now we're working through Beginner, and every time I hear her speaking I light up. She talks in full sentences, comments on things, asks questions, plays with words. She isn't memorizing — she's speaking.

Sometimes I read our school parent chat and see other families panicking — "English just started and the kids don't understand anything." For us, school English started the very same year.

And in those moments I'm especially glad we got going earlier.

Now I'm calm — everything comes easily for my daughter. And that's worth a lot.

I have two kids — a son in school and a younger daughter, 2 years and 3 months. We signed our son up to help him "catch up" with English at school — and I'm still grateful we found MEB. He started understanding the explanations, stopped being afraid of assignments, says "Mom, I've got this!" and actually does have it.

With our daughter we went a completely different route — early development from age 2 with My English Baby. I thought it would be hard to hold her attention so early, but Maria's lessons are pure magic. She chatters away and even cracks jokes in English.

I love that the program works for two kids at once, even at very different ages. One is closing school-year gaps; the other is growing into the language and enjoying every minute. You rarely find a program that flexes around the whole family this well.

We'd been with MEB for a year when we had to suddenly move abroad.

I was worried about how my son would handle an English-language school, but he settled into the new environment surprisingly fast — he understood the language, answered questions, and talked without any hesitation from day one.

His teacher said he was the first Russian-speaking child she'd seen arrive with that level of English.

MEB was a huge anchor for us during the move and the transition — without it the whole thing would have been much harder.

And I'm honestly so glad I stumbled onto your video back then and decided to give it a try — it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've made.

Things had been tough at school — our son didn't understand his assignments, got mixed up, and the whole family ended up doing his homework together. It still gives me chills to think about.

One day I completely stumbled onto Maria's account… and decided to take a chance. We bought the program and started learning at home.

The very first thing my son said after a lesson was, "Mom, why don't they explain it this way at school?"

I started crying. For the first time I could see he understood, smiled, and actually wanted more.

We study from home, whenever it fits our day, with nothing to look up or drive to. Time-wise and budget-wise, it's a hundred times better than a private tutor.

A friend of mine first told me about MEB — her daughter has been in the program since birth and is already speaking in full sentences at three.

At first I was skeptical, but I decided to try it anyway.

And then I was completely blown away. The logic, the system! The lessons are simple and clear, and kids get pulled in right away. On day three of our lessons my son suddenly said his first phrase in English.

I just stood there in disbelief that it was happening so fast.

And on top of that, Maria pairs real professionalism with genuine personal involvement in a way I've never seen before. It mattered to me not to be left alone with the lessons. Maria is always reachable — she answers, supports, and helps whenever something isn't clear.

We've been with MEB since 2019. We started when our older daughter was 1 year and 3 months — just turning on Beginner and repeating phrases as we went. Honestly, I never thought it would go this far.

Then something happened that I'm still amazed by. At 5½ my daughter started reading in English — even though she was only just starting to recognize letters in Russian.

She literally caught onto how reading works, and it just took off — English books came easily, and then Russian followed.

When our younger child arrived, I picked up Newborn for him, and our older daughter unexpectedly joined in too. Now she talks to her little brother in English on her own, big-sister style: "Baby, give me your toy, please." Sometimes she plays with her doll, pretending to be the "mama," and the whole dialogue is in English.

🤝 If you have doubts — that's normal

I wouldn't have believed either that a child could learn English calmly at home, without a teacher.

But that's exactly what led me to create the My English Baby method.

Over these years:

  • more than 15,000 children have gone through my courses,
  • I've published 3 books with AST publishers,
  • my system has been recognized by the Russian Ministry of Education,
  • I've completed dozens of training programs in Russia and abroad,
  • and most importantly — I see the results every single day in the kids at MEB.

And I know this for sure: when a child is given clear explanations — they don't just cope, they thrive.

Everything you normally have to piece together yourself is already here: courses, materials, recommendations, and support.

With the subscription you get:

• Access to every MEB school course

Bilingual development, reading, grammar, school English (Spotlight/Starlight), closing curriculum gaps, building speech, themed mini-courses — it's all in one place. No add-ons needed.

• A ready-made program built by Maria Eliseeva

In the subscription club Maria personally puts together the path that fits your goal: what to watch first, what comes next, what pace makes sense. You don't have to figure out levels and topics — the program is laid out like a recipe with each step in its place.

• Materials for every day

Videos, workbooks, comics, flashcards, audio, comprehension and speaking exercises — all already on the platform. Open it up and start.

• Support and answers

In the club you can ask any question, get advice, adjust your program, or get help with the tricky parts. You're not on your own — there's an experienced team and other parents walking the same road.

• A clear path instead of chaos

You never have to wonder, "what should we do today?" Your child always has a clear next step, and you have the peace of mind that comes with it.

Where do I get the study plan?

The program is built around you.

Once you've subscribed, you join the MEB Club and I personally map out your path — like a recipe: what, in what order, and exactly why.

What happens if I don't renew the subscription?

If you decide to take a break, access to the materials and the Club closes.

You can rejoin the Club after 6 months.

Why this rule?

This gap helps keep a steady rhythm to the lessons, preserves the supportive atmosphere, and keeps the Club running without constant in-and-out traffic.

When the group moves together, both kids and parents get more out of it, and the results are steadier and more predictable.

Exception: MEB ambassadors can return to the Club at any time.

Do parents need to know English?

No. The method is designed so a parent without any English background can lead the lessons. For the bilingual track, some English helps but isn't required.

Do I need to buy anything extra for the lessons?

No. Everything is already on the platform: tasks, workbooks, comics, video samples, flashcards.

For toddlers it can help to have a few toys on hand to keep their interest, but that's optional.

Can I do the lessons offline?

No. The platform runs online, so you'll need an internet connection.

You can use it on a phone, tablet, or laptop.

My child doesn't know any English at all — is this for us?

Yes. That's actually the most common case.

You start with the block that matches your child's level and move forward step by step.

How much time do we need to put in?

About 10 to 20 minutes a day. That's enough to keep your child engaged and moving through the system.

What materials do we need?

All the flashcards and worksheets are available online and easy to print at home. No extra purchases required. For toddlers, simple toys you already have work great.

Do you have courses for 13–15-year-olds?

The method is focused on ages 0–12, but teens can still use the themed courses (Travel), Spanish, and interest-based modules.

Is there support?

Yes.

In the MEB Club you can ask questions, send updates, and get recommendations.

I and the care team are around every day.

Is the method suitable for children with developmental differences?

Yes. The courses are used successfully with children with autism, ADHD, and Down syndrome. The format is flexible, visual, and gentle — easy to adapt to how your child is feeling that day.

What are the payment options?

Bank card. If you're paying from outside Russia, your bank may charge a foreign-transaction fee.

Can I cancel the subscription?

Of course.

You can stop it at any time — access stays open until the end of the paid period.

If I have two kids, do they each need their own subscription?

No. The whole family shares one subscription, and we'll build a separate path for each child.

Do I have to follow a schedule or study at a fixed time?

No.

The platform runs at your pace — you study whenever it works for you.

What if my child doesn't want to study?

The MEB method is all about gentle immersion.

In the club I'll guide you on where to start so your child eases in step by step, without pressure or pushback.
